Not only was Neil Blender a skateboarder, but in the early and mid 1980s, Neil was skateboarding. An artist, a creator, a laugher at people, a namer of tricks, he made skateboarding fun in the lean years before the boom of the late 80s. He opened the door for the skater/artist, who, to this day, keep skateboarding as much a lifestyle as a sport.
No sólo era Neil Blender un skater, sino que a principios y mediados de los 80, Neil era el skate. Un artista, un creador, un risueño de la gente, un namer de trucos, hizo que el skateboarding fuera divertido en los años de escasez antes del boom de finales de los 80. Abrió la puerta a los skaters/artistas que, hasta hoy, mantienen el skateboarding como un estilo de vida y un deporte.
Sometime in the late 80s, he stepped away from the spotlight, but he didn’t abandon it completely. Now he’s back launching a new brand: The Heated Wheel and it fully encapsulates the essence of his persona.
En algún momento, a finales de los 80, se alejó de los focos, pero no los abandonó del todo. Ahora ha vuelto lanzando una nueva marca: The Heated Wheel, que resume plenamente la esencia de su persona.
